Well I have just installed FW3.13 (may as well I guess) I had a package installed called Swapper, so I have uninstalled it and will see what happens. This is what happens- Umpa

No I have no-idea. I don't mess with it much it was months since I changed anything. I figured it might have been a package that I installed that has this unwanted side effect. I will look and see if I have installed sweeper.- Umpa

Missing Plug-in
Hi, yes I do something similar in that my NAS copies the media from my Humax so I can watch it on boxee etc. I thought I would see if I could get it to work with the browser, but I have no luck. I do have VLC installed and the safari plug in, but its still no go for me. I might fire up...- Umpa

Missing Plug-in
Sorry if this has been asked before, as I'm sure I cant be the only one to have this. When trying to watch a video from the gui I get a missing plug-in error, it seems to be something to do with VLC but I have no idea how to fix it. I'm on a mac. Does anyone know how to fix this ? Regards...- Umpa

Well that is a concern, but It would be nice for us all to control it via web. It could always allow them to schedule, but not reboot until I say so. The problem with the remote is the temptation for the wife to put it in standby - lol plus the remote always seems to be down the back of the sofa.- Umpa

I would like to be able to allow members of my family to set and record programs via the browser, but at the same time I don't want them to delete anything or other wise muck the install up by removing packages and...- Umpa

Samba and HDR
I would not call the Humax junk by any means, and it has always done what they said it would do. The Mac however despite being 'The worlds most advanced OS' has given me problems (many problems) but I still think its better than windows in many respects. What I meant to say and probably did...- Umpa

Hi, I installed samba on my Humax in the hope of browsing the Humax hard drive on my computer, so I could delete backed up programs, but I dont seem to be able to do this, infact I cant even tell the humax what workgroup I'm on I don't see the setting for it. Is it possible to do what I am...- Umpa

Thanx Guys, Yes Auto unprotect is installed, and after leaving it alone I can see it is slowly but surly decrypting my files they have the green dec at the side of them. I have a good feeling about this :) cheers Ump..- Umpa
