I already had shareFolder=off, but wasn't sure I had rebooted with the Network drive off. I did this. The "shared filesystem" appears under media (as they always did) but the [Shares] folder is still in My Video. It's this [Shares] folder that we must "never delete" that I am concerned about...
Understood. Unfortunately I find the advanced rules section too obscure to use, and there are no notes available. But I'll try seeing if I can duplicate your example. At present I've simply deleted all HD channels from the channels list on the box. Thanks.
"There are also practical issues: with af123 taking a back seat, I don't know whether the RS code (and server access) has been made accessible to our software team." Oh, that would be a shame if true -- it's such a brilliant feature. [Sorry, couldn't get the Quote thing to work]
The network-shares-automount package generates a [Shares] folder in My Video which we are warned must never be deleted. Is it possible to move this folder to the VirtualUSB so that it's safely out of the way? At present it appears just above listed recordings in My Video, so there is quite a...
When using the Channel = "Any" option under Auto / Standard Rules scheduling, when a programme is on a channel that has both SD and HD available then RS schedules both, hence hogging both tuners for just a single programme. To avoid this, could the "Any" option be replaced by two others: "SD...
It was by checking the webif error log and seeing there '/mod/webif/lib/queue.class:210: Error: no such table: queue' that I could then, by Google, locate the forum page I referred to, and thence a possible solution.
I have a horrible problem. Although all seems well on the Humax HDR itself, when browsing recordings in webif I only see one recording in any folder and on either internal or external disc. It's the earliest recording in each case. I've tried switching browser and power off/on. Any...
Actually there's no problem getting the programme since it did record it: just got the error trying to record it twice at the same time, and at the same time as another programme! I'm re-dong the reservation just to try to ensure I don't get the same problem next week. I'm familiar with the...
So everything recorded OK. But there was an anomaly: the box tried to record a non-existent "In Our Time" also at 12:14 and failed with "0 minutes" showing. The Remote Scheduling page still shows the conflict and indicates that there were two versions of the 09:00 In Our Time recording...
I have a similar case (HDR-FOX T2 so two tuners), but I can't see how padding (1 min before, 10 min after) resolves it:
Both The Saint and In Our Time finish before Star Trek starts at 09:59. There are no other recordings scheduled before noon in the week.
Thanks for the suggestion. I can't see how to add a channel matching condition to standard rules (can only choose specific channel or any channel). I would prefer not to have to go to advanced rules for the majority of my schedules.
Would it be possible to have a new rule for remote scheduling to favour SD channels over HD channels where there is this alternative? At present HD seems to take precedence and I have to change this on the box, but can then end up with the schedule doubled up to both channels.
I found my HD-FOX-T2 started crashing after a minute watching the various channel 4 channels, with no network connected. But I did have an ethernet cable plugged in -- nothing on the other end. Unplugging it cured the problem.
Is it feasible that the customised firmware might provide a better mp3 player than the standard Humax one? Specifically, a player that would permit moving through the file, resuming at last position, and would not always automatically play every file in a folder.
