Just had a go and no change. They are still in epgkeywords and as soon as you click on one they expand and collapse very quickly so you can't see the settings for them.
Hi there, with the new interface I am unable to use poc, redring & rs. They all sit inside of epgkeywords and when clicked the interface resets so I am unable to configure. I have tried removing and re-installin the packages but this did not work. Please can you advise. Many thanks in advance...
I've called TopUp and they wouldn't activate it on a Humax HDR. They said that Humax boxes do not allow the activation signal to be received to activate the card? I would have to go buy a box with the sky sports logo on it other wise they wouldn't touch it. I could however activate ESPN on my Humax.
Just a quick question on this one again. Has anybody got Sky Sports on their HDR? Does the trick I've read on google work? That is registering your card on a box that talks back to TopUp TV and then putting your card into your Humax??
Thanks, Jon.
Thanks for your response. Just to clarify.
When I install from the web interface it gets to configuring and then it stays there for ever. I can click OK and it looks as if transmission is installed. I can see it on the front end of the web interface and can click into it. I can add torrents but...
Another question? Is it possible to change the name of the "virtual" directory to something more wife friendly?? "Media Share" would be nice, but if you could push me in the right direction I'll amend myself rather than anybody changing the default install.
Thanks, Jon.
Hi all, I have a problem with Transmission using the modified firmware. I've installed from the web interface, this ran fine. But every time I enter transmission it stops running? There is also no torrents folder installed when I install the package? Pease can somebody help.
Thanks, Jon.
I've tried this fix? dms_cds.db seems to get stuck at 1.6Mb. Then the box freezes and I have to switch off on the back. Any ideas?? If I leave the file, will it keep adding to the DB or is it only populated when you activate the content share?
Thanks, Jon.
Has anybody noticed that the built in DLNA server does not show all of your files?? Mine doesn't? It works well but I cannot get it to show all the files? Anybody know how to reset it? I've turned it off and on but still have about 10 folders missing, ts files missing from the root and sporadic...
You could try GOM Player. Free and a very light install. Plus if I remember correctly it automatically asks to to install missing codecs if you don't have them for playing content. Also provides the link. Works on my wife's netbook.
Just an idea if you're still getting problems with other software?
Could anybody help me with email? If I want to use my gmail account as the smtp how do I add this into the settings? All the smtp I can find need authentication?
Thanks again in advance.
P.s. Thanks for fixing the pie chart.
Jon
I use favourites but using the guide. Works well, I agree with the list button though.
You can use your blue button to set the channel list in the guide.
Hi, I ran the commands and got this. The problem lies on my HDR.
Lounge# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/root 15.6M 15.6M 0 100% /
tmpfs 61.0M 24.0K 61.0M 0% /tmp
tmpfs 61.0M...
media sharing to work properly ;0)
The box plays numerous different types of files but their media server does not, well not Humax to Humax, works fine on my PC.
Oh no I've just updated to the latest version and I've lost my pie chart showing the disk usage. How do I fix this, I know how to update but this is not working, should I uninstall and reinstall?? if so what is the uninstall command?
Thanks, Jon.
I know that the built in media server does not show all of your media. Very random. Crashes my box a lot
Also Media Tomb if you use custom firmware will not stream mp4 files. But custom firmware is excellent for removing protection and streaming recorded mpg files.
Well not yet I'm trying to...
