  Thanks, though given our usage of the box over the past 4 years and the £25 price difference I'll probably go for the 1tb version. It's rarely over 50% full. Much appreciated.

  No, not yet. I'd certainly consider trying it. I work in IT, am relatively clued up (enough to root and flash custom ROMs on my Android phone) but TBH I'd like to see a potted 'idiot's guide' to its features and installation before I take the plunge. It must be very daunting to the completely...

  Strangely when I try to watch files from the humax on any of my pcs I get stuttering and only a partial picture but when I access the humax from my PS3 everything works fine. :confused:

  I wasn't execting FTP streaming.Not really what FTP is built for surely? Was expecting that it might (MIGHT) come later when and if they add DLNA server functionality.

  I'm happy, Iplayer HD content works. It's a little slow.But I'm content.Now to see if it fixes the 5.1 bugs and to find out what else it adds.

  Given the silence from Humax, I have prepared my self for an update that will fix some issues but contains no Portal.If so I have my torch and pitchfork ready and will be marching on Humax HQ. ;)
