Hi,
I've had my freeview recorder for about 3 years now and love it but I've had an issue in the past few weeks which is driving me round the bend.
Very often the the remote stops working. If I hold down the PVR but for 5 seconds it comes up "PVR" on the screen and the remote works again...
Did you have to pay Humax for the replacement remote, Martin? I'm going to have to do something - now the Back and Exit buttons don't work at all and the Guide and Mute buttons work eventually if you press them about 50 times.
I was watching BBC iplayer on the tv portal but it suddenly froze and no matter what i pressed, nothing happened so I switched it off at the mains and turned it back on.
Now, no matter what I press on the remote, nothing happens except the TV button at the top of the remote lights up. I can...
My issue with the sound seemed to sort itself out after a week or so. I tried turning on the tv first and then the freeview box and haven't had any issues since. I'm not sure if turning on the tv first has had any effect or not or whether it's just coincidence that issue is fixed.
I've actually found that I have the same issue when i switch source as well. Sometimes, when I switch to hdmi 2 to use the Chromecast for a while and then switch back to hdmi 1, the sound disappears. Very strange.
I just turned the tv off and left the freeview box on. when I turned the tv back on again, the sound wasn't working. I tried turning the tv and freeview box off and then back on and the sound returned.
I've just bought a new Samsung tv which I'm using with my 2000T. I'm finding that when I turn off the tv to go out or whatever, when i turn it back on again there's no sound. I'm assuming it's something to do with the tv as it never happened with my old tv.
Just wondered if anyone would know...
I got this machine last week and I love it. Just a couple of things I'm not sure about though.
Firstly, how do you connect to DLNA and why would you want that? Does that mean you can play media stored locally on your devices on your telly?
Secondly, is it possible to transfer recorded...
When you pause or rewind live tv and the playbar comes up, can anyone tell me what the numbers represent? Sorry, I'm new to this machine and the manual doesn't really explain it.
Thanks
I just bought my first Freeview + HD box yesterday (the 2000T) and scheduled 2 programmes and a movie to record last night.
The programmes have recorded fine but next to the movie it says "Recording (less than 30 secs) may not be stored".
Just wondered if anyone would know why that would be...
