They were talking about 3D printing, and the reporter (not the geeks themselves) said it when referring to potential applications. I can't remember the exact phrase, I was recovering from the irritation.
 
I have lots of different use cases. It is one of my little obsessions to have the right size and shape for each and every occasion.

Found this on the DMZ settings page for a brand new BT Homehub 3:
