You mean it isn't collected at the moment? Weird. Will having glass collected with the rest of your recycling make it easier for you to recycle glass?
No. I have to carry glass around 0.5 mile to the nearest Morrisons. Then I have to sort the glass into the bins based on the glass colour. I think I prefer that method to even more clutter on the pavements. What with cars, cyclists, runners, roadworks, bins, dogs and on the pavement it might be safer to walk on the road. Oh, scratch that - potholes! You mean it isn't collected at the moment? Weird.
I have to pay extra for mine. A crafty way for the local council to say they have one of the lowest council tax bills - charge extra. And (so far, anyway) garden waste is collected as part of the deal, not charged for separately.
There's a bus lane near here that's been suspended since late '21 with signs saying BUS LANE SUSPENDED USE BOTH LANES, although for some time the sign at the start was missing (as it was in the link) but it's long been replaced. And I thought "Bus lane suspended" might be less ambiguous. Doh! Not without an additional "use both lanes".
What happened to the word "program"? I suppose it's less "trendy" than "app.".the word "application" now has a different meaning in computer circles.
Back in the days when I applied for programming jobs, there were systems programmers and application programmers (possibly more). What happened to the word "program"? I suppose it's less "trendy" than "app.".
Doesn't every program have a particular purpose?dictionary.cambridge.org said:
