Delivery Woes

There does not seem to be many stationers left these days.
Once upon a time you could get many of the items from WH Smith. I never checked TG Jones for them, but they're closing all the Nottinghamshire shops anyway. There used to be office warehouse type places - Office World, I think. They've gone. The only proper stationery type shop in these parts is Ryman.

My hole punch gets plenty of use. The stapler - less so. Rubber bands go round half-used packets of sauce or rice to keep the contents in and as fresh as possible.
I confess I did throw my hole reinforcers away. Partly because they were so old the adhesive had turned into a sticky mess on the backing paper
Hole reinforcers: not only did the old ones on the roll become a mess, the ones on the paper fell off and left a dark ring.

The TG Jones in Didcot is closing too.

I never found the hole reinforcers much use, mostly because they didn't stick very well and fell off as soon as you turned the page.

WS Smith were not great towards the end but TG Jones are awful so I am surprised they are closing, they said they did not do them when I asked. Rymans do them but are out of stock online and my nearest one had none in, surprisingly even they are giving 500 for £4.49 compared to the Range £6.29 for 250.
