Foxsat HDR Auto Starting on Sky Mix

My old Foxsat HDR has decided that it should automatically start at 5pm (17:00) and tune itself to Sky Mix HD. It comes fully on (blue light) rather than appearing to be some form of recording (red light). There are no reminders set. My Humax Freeview used to power up during the night to check for OTA updates but that was well-behaved and it would shut down cleanly (fixed with the custom firmware). Is this something similar? Has anyone else experienced this?

Foxsat-HDR has no blue light capability. Red power on bar (even ins standby) and white-ish fluorescent display when ON for whatever reason.

Pretty sure this is a HDR-Fox-T2 ring light being described. Unless the 1000S/1010S had blue lights?

It's one of the early ones, here you go: foxsat.jpg

I can't speak for FOXSAT, but be comparison with HDR-FOX: Menu >> Settings >> Preferences >> Time >> Power On Timer
Good thinking @Black Hole. There's no time set for Power On but the channel is Sky Mix so there could be something going on here. I'll try recycling the settings in case there is a ghost in the machine. Nothing has been changed so it is strange that the new behaviour come out of a blue sky.

Cycling through enabled to disabled appears to have cleared the problem. Most strange. Many thanks for the pointer.

We (in HDR-FOXland) have noted misoperation when there is a power on without a power off (or vice versa).
