Help/Advice...Screen message displayed permanently on both Channels, i.e. ITV 1 HD (103) & Channel 4 HD (104).

Same problem after 10 pm tonight BUT it's also affecting channel 46 (5SELECT) which is also being broadcast on UHF channel 35 so I suppose it could be affecting many channels!

The quick rewind trick sorted it as it only affects live TV.

The Freeview planned engineering page is very unhelpful. Every transmitter appears to be on the list, and has been for quite a while. Either screen goes blank or pixelation and no mention of multiplex.

There is no such thing as a T2 codec. Codecs and modulation are completely different things.

So where are you supposed to get the technical information that we might find useful?

Technically correct. I understood what was meant. The creeping use of MPEG-4 (instead of MPEG-2) on DVB-T multiplexes. MPEG-4 being commonplace on UK DVB-T2.
