Fair enough, but it is also possible that the fault is due to bad soldering somewhere on the board and having a tuned station is a work-around. I agree though: your effort provided the information for the rest of us to distill into lucid advice.

It was 2008 when people reported that the brand turned off if a weak signal after 5 minutes, a couple of year latter people talked about IC pins not being soldered, although that could be a fix to a design fault, either way its a shoddy TV.
