Today my Humax HDR-FOX T2 startup in in the new setup wizard!

Not a huge deal, I just had to go through initial setup, tuning etc all over again.

Luckily the Recording Schedule Backup & Restore was working and I restored from that. Nothing has been lost.

Activity Log shows this happened overnight...

498122/07/2025 07:57:40 - System booted (Scheduled event).
498022/07/2025 05:32:57 - Automatically upgraded package epgfix from 1.0.0-1 to 1.0.1
497922/07/2025 05:32:57 - Automatically upgraded package webif-channelicons from 1.2.14 to 1.2.17

I've run Fix-flash-Packages, just in case.

As I said, not a big deal but has it happened to anyone else?

It is likely to be entirely coincidental, random restarts to the setup wizard are unfortunately not uncommon,
The package updates were problem free for me,

I also had no problem with the package updates.

But I do have a theory, how large can the programs to record database get? Is there a limit on its maximum size? i have a lot of items to record, and had a couple of random restarts recently where retoring the most recent backup (automatically done before the Humax did a programmed power down) showed very few entries, and going back to the previous one also showed missing entries. I'm wondering if the database reaches a maximum size and then corrupts.

How many times greater do you think the EPG database is compared to the programme reservations database?
You would have to have more items in the latter than exist in the former, which obviously isn't possible, before it would be bigger (as less data is stored per programme).
It's Sqlite so you can look up the limits for yourself, but it's essentially pointless as it's relatively huge, so your theory doesn't really hold water.
