Nobody challenged Narcissus, which could have been retracted as a simultaneous post (but wasn't), so it became the new root as soon as another word was played from it.

Oh balls. I didn't notice that retraction; possibly I didn't recognise it as one because of the format (I expected or imagined that the post would be deleted and replaced by the retraction, even though that's not what I put in the rules - doh!) - but it appears Trev didn't notice the retraction either.

Fine, patch up your score, everyone else patch up their scores as they see fit, keep calm and carry on (Missile).
