Media mistakes

You should have sent them to Penistone or Scunthorpe, and all the other ones in the UK with somewhat dubious names. It's all fairly well documented, as you might expect these days.

My parents had long standing friends (now dead) with surname Sidebottom. Like the related name Longbottom this causes sniggering even in the UK, but a "bottom" is a field which is where the name comes from.

Related to tits as birds, there are shags and boobies.

Not a place name but surely whoever named this plant I just saw on a site had to be having a laugh
Looks like the sort of plant that would have been included in the crime prevention initiative sometimes know as "Burglaris Disembowelis".

Not sure this is a media mistake, but who am I to criticise with all my mis-postings?

I take it you've just received (today, Friday 12th) that email. Did the item get sent to you yesterday?

At least they got the guy's name right. I've emailed 'em. I'm now going to record the One to see what happens as it's bound to be repeated!

Type that into a search engine and you get the correct spelling. That caught me out, there was one more aitch than I expected!
