Need to replace HDR-FOX T2 (Green screen on new TV)

With the help (hand holding) of Black Hole I have managed to resolve this issue with Mothers TV, using a Minus pin 19 cable and the vformat macro in the Humax greenscreen on some tvs thread.

Portal button also changed if required.

A big thank you for all your help, especially Black Hole.

Have you tried variations on switching TV on after the Humax, switching TV on before Humax, etc. I have a fairly recent LG TV, can't recall the model number, and for the most part it works fine, but occasionally comes up with a green screen, and fiddling with switching things off and on gets it working in the end.

Tried all that, nothing simple seemed to work. The main issue is that it’s an old lady in her mid 80’s using and loving her Humax.
It needed to be very simple. With the minus pin 19 cable and the boot macro etc. she can get it working easily. Which cuts down on the calls to me (her long suffering son)

I had the same issue with my aunt and also my parents, aged between 81 and 87. Both households wanted new TVs, but both insisted that their HDR Fox T2s must continue to work as they don't want to have to learn anything new and it does what they want. Fortunately the Sony A90K 48" OLED TVs I choose for both of them work fine with the HDR Fox T2 with no work arounds required.

Hindsight being 20/20 vision, I should probably have asked on here as to which TV’s grumble with the Humax connected, or rather which ones work without issues.

Mum’s TV is an LG43UA75006LA and it did grumble.

None of my LGs has ever had problems connecting to Humax so I wouldn't have advised against!

Hindsight being 20/20 vision,
Why do you think that? Hindsight is generally considered better than not having had hindsight.

The term "20/20 vision" means having average vision. If you add prescription glasses to those with 20/20 vision, many would be able to see better. E.g. some one with 20/20 vision could improve to 30/20 vision.
