Nothing immediately comes to mind. Can you turn on redring debugging (I think that's an option on the settings screen - can't check from here) and post the log entries around a recording ending with the ring remaining red?

Okay, that might clear a fault situation, but it doesn't help track down an intermittent bug. I wouldn't describe it as "fault finding", more "fault recovery".Presumably you have done a full mains off/on cycle as the first thing you should always try as first step in fault finding.
