shifting channels around

When C5 stopped working on Freesat I put the non Freesat channel in 5, CF needed though to hide C5 and renumber 5xxx, then move it on Foxsat to 5, I have a write up somewhere on how to do it if you struggle.
Thanks but i cannot find anything on the box itself to renumber the 5xxx number - cannot even find that in webif

I don't have sat setup anymore but I could go up the channels to 5 but had to go down from 1 to get 4, I have it written down how to do it, when I have time I will send it to you

was playing with box settings last night - it seems I can move 5+1 number 5244 if it is in the non-freesat menu .....however all my main tv stations I have moved over to the freesat menu so I have all the popular channels in the freesat menu and it dont look like on freesat I can move the channels about on that menu, the facicility isnt there. So i cannot for example put 5+1 5244 under channel 5 105

Have you made your 5244 (5+1 copy) "visible" and "freesat" in channel editor?

If so you should be able to navigate to it in freesat mode by going from 105 to 104 to 103 to 102 to 101 {to 999?} then to 5xxx channels.
Or dial in 5244 on the keypad to get to it.

But FAVOURITES is a possible way to do this using LCN 128 (5+1)...

select 101, 102,103, 104 and 105 (for example)
add with <red> button
select 128 and add with red button

continue to select other channels and add them until happy.. Press <back> and SAVE changes.

LCNs remain unchanged but the channel order in P+/P- stepping is changed.

Favourites are accessed via the OK and green button... but seemed a bit of a faff in my view... and I've never used them in anger... {neither on Foxsat nor the HDR-Fox-T2 where they may be more use in the WebIF for it, I believe}.

Box seems to create its own <auto> favourite sub group... which had me confused... (easily done)... :rolling:
