As I've said elsewhere, a T2 not running customised firmware isn't running in a virtual memory OS environment. If you run out of memory, the box stops working. Lack of memory has ZERO effect on speed, other than stopping it completely. It does NOT make it slow.

OK so the epg has become really slow again... back to 1.02.xx I go.

Mine has now gone really slow over the last few days. It's now unusable to be honest.

Do you use custom firmware? There is a possible fix you could trial.

Yep I'm on custom firmware. I will check tonight what versions.

The possible fix is to delete the EPG data and reboot. prpr's been looking at this, and my suggestion is that if there are no unwanted side-effects it could be a standard operating procedure at boot time.
