Your reference to a blue screen has me puzzled. If you're talking about the TV screen mine always goes to a black when I shut down the 2000T and so does my 1000s.

I explained badly. My Onkyo AV amp shows a blue screen in "no signal" conditions. But I was getting a black screen
which means HDMI was energised without a video signal. This was not how my 2000T usually behaves.
