The end of analogue phone lines, how do I switch my aunt?

...
I do not understand this "EE provides the type of broadband needed in your area". EE is a mobile company, BT provides the cabled stuff, OpenReach deals with the infrastructure. I know there are such things as 4G/5G routers, but the signal where I am is crap and that was one reason I kept the phone line – now alleviated by WiFi calling. If they are going to suggest no cable and a wireless router, I'm not going to be happy.
They don't say what type of broadband EE will supply. Eg they do fibre, mobile and (soon) satellite. They may just keep you in ADSL and take over the service. Maybe ask for confirmation which specific one they're offering?

I'm fairly sure you'll just be converted to SoADSL (which is just the regular ADSL+PSTN voice service you have now but without the PSTN voice), with or without BT Digital Voice depending on which option you choose.
What are the relative charges?

It just seems to be the way BT are splitting their sub-businesses now. I'm with plusnet who are now positioned just as a broadband and mobile provider (assuming they continue with mobiles). The email service that historically came free with the broadband is all being migrated to a 3rd party (Greenby), who will, after a 2 year grace period, charge for it.

For exactly the same reasons BH gave ⬇️ I'm ditching the landline and(for the moment) staying with plusnet, but there are better deals purely in terms of charges, and of course depending what you requirements are in terms of speed, side-deals like TV packages, availability in your area, whether you want hybrid or full fibre (the latter apparently not yet available in my street) etc etc.

I can't see any benefit in keeping my phone line – the reasons I used to have are all gone, the loss of service if the power goes down being the final nail in its coffin. There is no longer any point (if there was a point before) in paying for something that is rarely used and more often than not a target for spammers.

Edit: I meant to add that the information about EE was practically zero - all they say is you keep the landline (via VOIP obviously) and broadband at the same price I'm paying currently (in my case a rubbish deal as I went out of contract with plusnet for various reasons and am hence paying too much). No information about T&Cs, speed or speed guarantees, contracts, future price rises.... nothing.
