TV loses channel signals....baffled or what

I think I've got a " cheap & nasty" Y splitter knocking around somewhere. I'll try it out tomorrow when I visit if I can find it. I'll let you know what happens!!
 
I am fortunate in that I have a 4 port distribution amp in the loft to feed Master bedroom, Kitchen and two into the Lounge. I have a convenient internal route from loft to lounge which also serves a satellite feed (FoxsatHD) and an RJ45 Ethernet cable (wireless router), all fed through a modified wall plate.

Ps. I forgot to mention the 15 metre A/V lead from HD-Fox T2 to TV in bedroom. :)
