you could try bypassing the tuning by copying the databases from a previuously working setup but it would probably then start failing with a similar error when attempting to read the epg and/or recording stream- MymsMan

Would it perhaps have worked if restored early in bootup prior to start of humaxtv as suggested in #6 I still have hopes that we can automate recovery from a Wizard event! Post-boot the webif is active and a package could detect that the wizard is in progress by checking the VFD for the WIZARD...- MymsMan

Very possible - I guess setup.db, freq.db and channel.db would be the key databases. I have wondered if forcing WIZARD_CMPLTD to 1 in the bootsettings package would avoid some occurences of the Wizard but not if there was a problem with the data base integrity. You are not the only one see https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/fox-t2-display-wizzard.11389/ No logs that will help - it is base Humax firmware that is controlling this behavour- MymsMan

It is an unfortunately frequent occurence on the FOX-T2 HDR and HD models No-one has yet found the root cause and managed to prevent its occurence. That is why I was thinking 4 lines of 3 keeps News and Entertainment/Drama together But should it really be 4x4 for the 16 possible values including Unclassified?- MymsMan

Perhaps split the list over 3/4 lines so that it formats better in narrow windows. I assume the same text will appear on the EPG details, Media details and everywhere else Genre is used in the webif, will hmt program also follow suit?- MymsMan

Yes, that works for me on both Webif and RS I am not sure why it isn't working for you I never normally use Genre searches because I don't trust that prorammes have been callassified correctly - The fact that Great... weren't appearing before seems to indicate they weren't setting the genre...- MymsMan

Tuned Multiplex Information for DVB-T channels missing on one T2 - Solved
Don't worry about it, you can see live signal strengths via the Hidden service menu The data displayed on that webif menu is always out of date, it is pity that noone has worked out how to access the live signal data from the webif- MymsMan

HD live picture break up now HD mux is on offset channel
I know you have already tried switching drives without noticeable difference but it would still be worth running fixdisk in Maintenance mode to confirm that there are no problems on the disk, retrying from a write error could introduce a problem and a single bad sector can slow the system down...- MymsMan

Personally I rarely watch/record HD programmes because we live opposite woodland and the HD channels seem the most affected by any interference. It has been better since the aerial was moved to a pole that is just above the tree line. The source of your problems could be outside the Humax! Are...- MymsMan

Playback of Ad-Detected recordings intermittently stops
It is not a symptom that I have seen reported before, I am assuming you are using the cropping so try turning that option off- MymsMan
