Hi, I am stumped by this problem of not being able to connect to the web interface. I have not had any problems with the custom firmware on my HDR-Fox-T2 since purchase in April last year.
I can see it is still connecting up to the RS site, as I can add or remove scheduled recordings. The IP...
Any idea on how to save settings (such as settings speed timing from midnight to 8am as I have unlimited bandwidth at those times). At the moment I can make those changes but they are lost whenever the Humax is rebooted. Is there anyway to save the settings or keep them in a file which can be...
Thanks for your quick reply James!
What I am looking for is the ability to note files that do not play. Is there an event which takes place whenever the "cannot support the audio format of this file" message appears? Being able to note this in a text file. I do not need to have the files...
I know the HDR-Fox-T2 will not play all video formats but was wondering if there could be a package which "notes" (perhaps in a text file) the actual file name of files that it will not play. This way I can take this list and move those unsupported files to a different folder or hard drive to...
Excellent work guys! I was rather apprehensive but it all installed like a dream! Thank you for the quick turn around, the beta release from Humax was only early in the week and within a few days you have put together an upgrade for the custom firmware. You guys are legends!
This sounds like an excellent idea but not sure how it well it would work in practice (if at all possible). I would like to have this feature to check if maintenance on our aerial has been completed during the day. Gives me a chance to then at least ring the property management company and...
Finally completed digital switch-over in the Meridian region. (I live in Slough - long story but I pick up Hannington transmitter from my flat!). I now have the 4 HD channels - fantastic!
However, I have noticed that when viewing them on my Humax HDR that the volume level does not work. I have...
I need to clarify my answers. I live in Slough and should receive a signal from Crystal Palace. However, living in a flat I have been unable to persuade my management company to change the direction of the aerial at the top of our block. Other residents have just gone out and bought Sky dishes...
Would it be possible to describe where you can do this? I have looked around both the RS website and the web interface but cannot see any option to backup or a package to install to backup the schedule!
Hi, I would like to bump this thread! I am keen on being able to have a package which goes through a folder and creates thumbnails from the files which have not been recorded by the PVR itself. The ability to also search through network files and create thumbnails would be added bonus! :)
Only discovered the Bookmark button yesterday (after reading about file editing on another thread). However, I wonder if this facility can be updated in the firmware to also work on network shares. As far as I can tell it currently only works with files recorded by the Humax and not files stored...
Based on using the app yesterday the following channels are available to watch live (but some programmes may not be viewed due to rights restrictions)

Yes I have created the network directories
Running the script by typing the command in the telnet window - that works fine! :) So not sure why it is not running.
Hi again. I am able to mount shares using a command in telnet window but the script does not seem to work. I have saved the following in the directory as you suggested but it does not mount the shares.
mount -t cifs //192.168.1.69/video "/media/My Video/Network" -o...
Thanks Rich! Worked an absolute dream! :) Never knew that my Hummy would have so many geeky possibilities! All the guys out there working on the customised hardware, I owe you guys a drink!
Thanks again! :)
