Fvp-5000t losing series links
Another bug where it often doesn't register when you click record series/cancel series but it does if you close and reopen Another bug often doesn't show planned recordings in the recording planner- Member 7823

Fvp-5000t losing series links
Fvp has a few bugs. One of which is: You can't set up a series link from a live episode???? Bizarre but true Just record that episode seperately and set up series from the next episode.- Member 7823

Manually search for Quest HD from Waltham Transmitter?
I looked at the Freeview website which still shows channel. 55 but obviously not been updated. Looks like Quest HD was also swept away 😞- Member 7823

I'm not sure how it can find 0 channels on Ch 55 because it has most of my HD channels which are already installed?? Does the Humax manual search even work?- Member 7823

Everytime I retune I always lose Quest HD channel 114 I have to keep retuning the whole channels and resetting up recordings until it eventually finds quest HD Is there a way for me to Manually search for Quest HD from Waltham Transmitter? I can see the aura has a resume menu, but does it resume series play or just resume the episode???
FVP 4000 combined both functions to create a Netflix experience 1/ The Resume menu (the very first menu you come to) had all the programmes in last watched order, so it was simple to pick up where you left off (2 clicks) 2/ when the episode ended it would autoplay the next episode Netflix...- Member 7823

The Fvt 4000 had a great feature before the update RESUME SERIES. You could resume watching a series from where you left off and when that episode finished it started playing the next episode in the folder Resume play was the first tab of the recordings menu where all recordings were stored in...- Member 7823

Do you think the 5000 is now redundant?
Seems like you tube and some other apps stopped working If I cast to YT on FVT 5000 it fails to open and connect, I can cast directly to my TV no problem. Used to work If I choose a catch-up episode from the search list it also fails to open, but if I open the player and did it works fine. It...- Member 7823

Does Aura have volume control?
I have Fvp5000 audio out to my separate amp and speaker I have hdmi active to switch TV on off with 5000 This means we only need the 5000 remote I'm wondering whether the aura has its own volume controlling the audio output?- Member 7823

Yeap. We all watch lots of stuff and we all keep old films that we watch all the time. I've got some on there since last Christmas. On the 5000 there's no need to stuff them in a folder show your mum how to use the search feature, great thing is it remembers your last few searches, it will come...- Member 7823

Mine always records unless it's already recording 3 Scroll down to see a list of films???? Ours lists all recordings with most recent first. Series are already in folders. Never had a need to create more folders or move stuff around- Member 7823

Netflix Volume too loud
That will be the case wherever you switch to your normal TV because the Humax has a volume control which can only make it quieter than the original. The solution is simple, just use Netflix on the Humax. I have my Humax piped through my hi fi subwoofer and speakers and only use the Humax remote...- Member 7823
