Slight error in my command !
It should be :
route add -host 192.168.0.1 reject
I'll see how this goes. The Humax has been powered up for 15 minutes now and no reboots !
Ive had the reboot issue before when my NAS was running a newer version of twonky.. It's started again since he added his to the network.
I'm testing adding a static route to reject packets to the NAS.
route add -h 192.168.0.1 reject
Rejects packets sent to that IP address.
Hi
My son has added a NAS drive to my network. This is running TWonky which is causing my Humax to reboot.
I don't need access to the NAS from the Humax so I've manually added a static IP route to the Humax with a reject so the box can't connect to the NAS. A simple ping from the Humax to the...
Hi
I seem to remember a mod that allowed specific programs to be automatically saved to a certain folder.
Is that possible.. or wishful thinking ?
I'd like to make it so items my daughter records goto her folder, my son his folder and so on !
Thanks
Hi
I've downgraded my NAS's Twonky as it wasn't working as I needed anyway.
I'm re enabling content sharing and have bought a Raspberry Pi.
I can now watch the programs I want and was trying to watch via Twonky on my Pi and hopefully I'll be able to stream some content from the Humax to the Pi.
:D I updated my NAS earlier this week with the latest Twonky !
I've disabled Content Sharing and will see if that helps..
Upgrading Twonky didn't help anyway..
Thanks :D
Over the last few days my HDR T2 has powered on fine then after a couple of minutes the display shows rebooting and counts down... and then reboots..
Any idea why it's started doing that ?
Web interface version: 1.0.5-3
Custom firmware version: 2.11
Humax Version: 1.02.28
Thanks :)
Probably a daft question
But why can my Raspberry Pi when turned on turn on my TV and set it to the correct HDMI input and when turned off, it turns the TV off.
Can the HDR T2 be configured to do this?
As per subject, I've not upgraded etc for a while...
Currently reporting as :
Web interface version: 0.13.3-4
Custom firmware version: 2.11
Humax Version: 1.02.28
What do I need to upgrade and in what order ?
thanks
Hi
Is there anyway to add restrictions to the HDR-FOX T2 to stop specific programs from being watched live, recorded or watched from a recording ?
I need to block some programs, Jeremy Kyle, Hollyoaks etc !
Thanks :)
Thanks.
It's a shame the Humax isn't using a format more devices can play.
I don't have a choice of adding a media player box etc, as the tv is being wall mounted and there is no where for it to go.
My current Sony, can't play the media direct from the Humax.. Would it make any difference if the files were streamed from another device, or is it the file format ?
If it's the format, would it be possible to decode the files, and then convert and save then to a NAS Drive ? but do all this...
Thanks for the reply, sorry it's taken a couple days to reply !
Can the HDR-T2 mount a Linux NAS Drive and then decode the files to that ? I can stream from that and I seem to remember my TV can view files from that :)
I don't want to use a PS3 etc for media play back as the TV will be wall...
Hi
I'm about to buy a new TV for my office, the Sony 32'' KDL-32CX520.
Will I be able to watch SD & HD content from my HDR-FOX T2 across the network via this TV ?
Will the HD need to be decoded before I wan watch it and is there anyway to do that automatically ?
Thanks :)
