  I remember my old dreambox web interface had an option to send a text message to the tv screen, does the humax have a similar option? if so, how? thx

4. Access the Humax web interface over the internet?
  
  How do I setup the Humax HDR Fox 2 web interface so I can access it over the internet while im away? I dont want to use dyndns , ill just access it over my static ip address 90.x.x.x portx with a password, but how do I assign the web interface to a port number? and will I need to open the port...

  Hi, I am only getting between 700kbps and 1200kbps while ftping from my humax to my pc, does that speed appear to be quite normal? I would have thought 10mbs would be more in order over a local network. maybe there is some settings for the ftp transfer speed somewhere? I remember my old...

  yep its probably the spec of the tablet since I can stream HD videos OK to my laptop.

  The Tablet PC is an A10 Cortex A8, 1.2 GHz processor, model No EV764 with 500MB Ram, its running Android 4.0.3 (fyi 69 quid on ebay) the HD video streams very very jittery from the humax, I wonder if its the capability of the tablet at fault, ie processor speed and ram or maybe some missing...

  Hi, Anyone have any luck streaming videos from the humax HDR while browsing the web interface 192.168.x.x on a tablet? on mine it says "playing video" but I cannot see any picture. I have installed mx video and the codecs which are supposed to work but it doesnt. thanks
