Replacing HDD in Humax HDR-FOX T2
How appropriate that there is a disk replacement thread :) I've just got my 2GB seagate Pipeline Job installed, the Hummy boots and displays the format storage banner. Possible bug in new firmware crashing my HDR?
I am running the latest version with the Feb build of the Normal Software and the very latest version of the Custom Software, It has done it before today using the 'previous' version of the CF but as I dont really use the Hummy as my Number one bit of Kit I had not really noticed how often it...- Eric Carter

Humax Faults v. Serial Number
Not sure on the Firmware question and not easy to check as I am no longer at home, I did flash it right away with the customised software though...... When I contacted Humax they swapped it right away and mine was bought as a Grade A box from Humax Direct- Eric Carter

Humax Faults v. Serial Number
I returned my Device Serial Number 63710472300057 to Humax due to it dropping the Audio to the HDMI connection after a short time, My tv was a Panasonic P42G20B, the audio via the Scart was unaffected, returned and sorted no issues since :)- Eric Carter

Eastenders was renamed to "Sharon gets smashed and takes drugs etc..." Had a quick look in the wiki and no threads found here- Eric Carter

Ok, I have copied over 9gb of data from a single folder on the HDR to the HDD, none of the files was over 4gb using the remote control and I can see the progress in the webIF. I am only going to back up the data I need so to be honest the remote will do fine for me, but i do like the idea of...- Eric Carter

Removed the software and rebooted then loaded again and I have been able to download all the features of the browser based stuff, just gonna have a snout around now and see what I need to do to copy and decryt my 85gb of data :) Many thanks for the help- Eric Carter

Sorry Its a HDR-Fox, I read in the forum of the schedule being lost when the device auto updated the channel list so loaded the custom software to stop it:), dont suppose it did anything.... without being initialised So is there any way i can re-initialise the opening web menu ? or should I...- Eric Carter

Guys first post, how nice that I bring an issue. I have been using the customised software for a while without actually loading any of the additional features. I loaded the latest version tonight and logged into the IP of my device. I got the Web intro screen and started the dowload of the apps...- Eric Carter
