Just wanted to say thx for all the info - the upgrade went well and has given my old hdr forx t2 a new lease of life. 4TB. The wife couldn't possibly fill that up now could she...............! thanks everyone.
well - i just switched the clock on and it told me it was 01:15. So I put it in standby. ( I had tried just turning off and on which didn't work).
Going into stanby and the time showed correctly. Coming out of standby, it is still ok. Not sure what was going on, but that seems fine now...
evening all. Anyone had a problem with the clock display when using the red ring mod? I had a weird time being displayed - about 7 hours and 15 minutes behind GMT. I have switched off the clock display in the interface for now but was a bit puzzled as to where it was getting the time from, as...
Yes, I did and it has gotten me into trouble in the past, but worked out fine this time... Black hole, are, there any docs about the version of linux the hdr-t2 uses, man pages or a list of tools and commands that can be used from a terminal session?
Ezra / Blackhole, I read thru the the info on the link and have run this. There was cheering from the wife and children when all their recordings were accessible once more. Thanks so much for the quick response, much appreciated.

Hi, pls can anyone advise. I have been running the latest CF for quite some time, but today the Humax popped up with a message that the HDD cannot be used until it is formatted. The CF web interface is no longer accessible. Any advice please?
thanks

has been happening to me. Just had the box tell me i needed to format the storage to be able to use it and on checking, it had reverted back to official s/w. I have applied the 2.10 cust s/w again and everything seems good. have hard booted also and seen no messages. Schedule resoted frm...
Hi, I've been getting picture break up when a programme is recording and the same program is being watched using the time shift function. Is this usual? I would normally just watch the recording, if I'm running late with a programme, but in this case it was quicker to to "pause".
Just...
Well - it's been a few days now without issues. I defaulted and re-scanned but the next evening sure enough as I walked in, changed channels to a hd channel, the message came up that the signal was scrambled or too weak (can't remember the exact wording). However I flicked channels and it came...
Hi Chris, that is exactly what I have done as I'm guessing Humax support will also advise the same - backedup the schedule, factory reset, rescan.
Now for the wait until I get home this afternoon......
thanks for the reply.
My Humax signal loss is baffling me. Again this afternoon, I came home from work and the box had lost reception to all channels. A 2nd TV in the next room connected to the same aerial, continued to receive the same TV channels with no problem. Both the Humax and the TV attached to it lost...
I don't know about your specific client (buzz) but using the customised software af123 has written and via mediatomb, I can stream content from an external usb drive attached to the hummy to windows 7 laptops and HTC (Android) devices so well that my children don't need to move at all now...
well guess what? The box still needed a reboot this evening when I got home from work.... Logically reverting back to "standard" firmware wasn't going to cure this, but I had to try.... Anyone got any suggestions or theories about why I could have intermittent signal strength affecting the HD...
Interesting - I'm reverting to standard for now. 24 hours since last reboot approx and just got a load of screen garbage. Rebooted and now clear again.
Yes - been using for about a month. Fantastic. Only odd thing I've noticed is having to hard reboot occasionally as the HD signal becomes too weak. Once rebooted the signal strength is good enough again to display the HD channels. I don't think I had to do this before...
