Assume v. Presume

So if Trev doesn't exist who is writing 'his' posts?
Trev exists, I just don't believe his religion, but am happy to follow his calendar. Same with that other guy, the BC one, the calendar is no problem but the fairy stories are.

No, atrevist as in atheist.
That was a whoosh (on my part).

That implies an atheist doesn't believe in religion but could accept the existence of God.

Regardless, I don't think setting a different datum is sufficient to be called a different calendar - presumably PMT (Post Miserly Trev) still uses the Gregorian cycle?

Just the existence of a Trev, who may or may not think he is a god. He most certainly looks like one, or a wizard. The conventional look anyway, the clichéed look!

Or Father Xmas before Cola Croaka reddened him.

Looks more like the original headmaster of Hogwarts to me. So that would make him a wizard.

This response ^^^ seems to say that an atheist doesn't believe in the existence of Trev. To me it makes no sense in the context of BH's comment and the previous posts leading to that.
Hence "Eh?"

Quite. The substitution of "trev" for "the" (from the Greek theos) in atheist did not convey the meaning intended, which is what I was querying (and it originally passed right over my head when I thought he must have miss-spelt atavist - which would have worked). However, as it was in a line of banter I think we can let him off.

After re-reading the posts, I have to agree with you. If an atrevist is likened to an atheist then Mike0001 should believe that Trev does not exist - and all his [Trev's] posts should now disappear in a puff of logic - at least when Mike0001 reads this page.

Clearly! All hail the great Trev! :notworthy: came into my mind. I thought Mike0001 had formed a new religion with followers who are atrevists.

Got it in one, as played by Richard Harris. The name is Dumbledore, Professor Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. I quite like the 'Brian' shoved in amongst some other esoteric forenames.

I confess I haven't watched the films. When reference was made to god or wizard, I examined your avatar and thought it looked like Richard Harris. Bit of research then found "Brian".
