I downloaded the new Aura 14 yesterday with no problems except that there was absolutely no response to any of the remote buttons, I couldn't even turn it off!
Later on, using my HDR Fox T2, I noticed that the Aura was responding to some of the T2 commands including the power button. I assumed that the download had scrambled the IR codes so I reset the Aura to option 6, which restored control. Unfortunately, both the HDR and the Aura now both turn on with the T2 remote. ( set to mode 1)
I have had to postpone further tests settings as I am recovering from a cataract operation and can not see very well at the moment.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I have the Foxsat and FVP-4000T (with my brother) as well as the aura and the controller doing just that turning on the aura turned on one of the others etc.
It was a while ago and I am a bit rusty how I did it.
I just looked up the Aura 4K manual.
I think the aura remote is bluetooth and IR I had to work it out as I use a logitech harmony as my primary now.
I was worried getting locked out of controlling the aura changing the IR codes and I think the control reset helps get out of that situation.

The manual states:
Box Assigning
If you are using multiple devices close to the box, your remote control may interfere with other devices.
To avoid IR interference, you can assign multi-custom IR code to your box.
1. Direct the remote control to your box.
2. Press the OK and 0 buttons at the same time for 5 seconds. Then, the red LED turns on.
3. Press one of numbers 1 to 6 to assign code. The red LED blinks three times and then turns off.
4. If successfully assigned, the remote control will work for the assigned box only.
Remote Control Reset
To clear all the settings on the remote control, you can reset the remote control to the factory default
settings.
1. Direct the remote control to your box.
2. Press the Power and RED buttons at the same time for 5 seconds until the red LED blinks three
times. All the settings will be reset.
3. With the default settings, the remote control will operate in IR mode.
I hope this helps.
