Never thought of that. Doh!
Bit slow!
Changed pharmacist and no longer get the form
They still print them, even in this digital world. They just throw them away - sometimes they ask you if you want it.
What really bugs me is the sheer number of sticky labels they put on, all with (often multiple items of) personal information that needs to be destroyed before it goes in the bin.

Old pharmacist usually did. New pharmacist has a machine that dispenses some prescriptions - if it's working. Whoever makes up the prescription doesn't include the form. As for sticky labels - if only they were sticky. There's enough of them but the glue is useless.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service has issued another urgent warning against garden fires as crews dealt with two large-scale field fires in the county.

The service said its control room had continued to receive reports of people lighting fires in their gardens on Thursday afternoon, August 13, despite repeated appeals during the prolonged spell of hot and dry weather.
Someone from the Wire has been in the Tardis and can predict the future. Wednesday afternoon, August 12 perhaps? Journalists!

people lighting fires in their gardens
Why do people do this? Is it not hot enough already? The solution to the problem is just to put the people down. Same solution for the prisons. And illegal immigrants.

If it isn't fires in the garden it's bbqs or Chinese lanterns or foil balloons that snag on power lines. The tone of a post by Notts F&R on social media shows their annoyance. I imagine they are p'd off with declaring a major incident the other day and borrowing appliances from Leics, Lancs and Merseyside. Then there are the rumours that some of the wildfires are started deliberately.

Whilst I'm not in favour of capital punishment - these clowns need dealing with. Who are we going to early-release to enable some prison time?

I don't see a solution. You can't release enough (where's the deterrent in doing that anyway?), you can't build more to house them, so what's the alternative? Exporting them to somewhere else has failed and they just come back anyway. There are no other alternatives. As I said before, it's beyond time to get tough.

The folly of putting broadcast on to public bandwidth (the internet), rather than private bandwidth (terrestrial or satellite links), is laid bare for all to see on the BBC's eclipse coverage.
It's cheap(er). It's also crap. See what happened to Ratners.

Then there are the rumours that some of the wildfires are started deliberately.
They're not rumours, it's true for some of the wildfires on the moors in Yorkshire. I'm not generally in favour of capital punishment but I'll make an exception for people that deliberately start wildfires. That's the same as being a mass murderer.

That includes anyone launching a sky lantern, whether the weather is dry or not. "Just a bit of fun"... yeah, right, so fire-bombing a random target is just a bit of fun?
