Media mistakes

The costumes came from a professional supplier. No idea if they had a shop. It was my last time on stage and I was basically just an extra / bit of the scenery.
 
Rob Sissons on East Midlands Today at the newly opened National Rehabilitation Centre:
"...as the first patient walked in here." (over shots of him being pushed in a wheelchair).
They first captioned it Stamford On Soar, when it's Stanford - fixed during the 'VT' before the next live bit.
How crass.

Absolutely no excuse for that.

Common usage.An NHS walk-in centre doesn't bar wheel-ins. Chris McCausland, the blind comedian, often says he's watched a film

How crass
Yes, but still better than the ITV News Central for the East Midlands, pre-recorded in Birmingham and the presenter stumbled over every other word.
