New BBC HD Channels planned

The link (HERE) does show COM7 in place on the 30th April 2014 for Rowridge, but I'm afraid I cant say if it really is in place

The Link (HERE) also shows COM7 in place for Rowridge, but, (I'll say it before someone else does) this site has been criticised for being inaccurate

BTW

Both links seem to show that there is both Horizontal AND vertical polarisation being used (on the same frequencies) from Rowridge, but that COM7 and L-SOT (local TV) are only available for horizontal polarisation (top picture, not bottom)

OK, I'll try another retune soon. Sure I read it was earlier for Rowridge somewhere though. I think our aerial is horizontal.

Thanks. Looked a bit diagonal to me! New HD channels can't be being transmitted from Rowridge yet then. Unless anybody knows different?

Com 7 is transmitting but a lower power than the other MUX

Actually, on closer inspection, our aerial is rotated 90 degrees to the one in my previous link. The prongs at the back are vertical. I guess this explains why we're not getting COM 7 (which is only transmitting horizontal).

Isn't it rather strange having both horizontal and vertical polarisation on one transmitter?
