:-(((

Also, if Freeview realised that That's TV shows most content in the wrong aspect ratio, would they threaten to kick it off?
I doubt it. But while we're at it, would they kick other channels off for over-large DOGs, animated DOGs, pop-up nexts, and squashing end-credits? No - unfortunately.

It was ITV1 some years ago, then they decided to go back to ITV. So this is history going round and round. Wonder how long before they change back to ITV again as having greater brand recognition or some such.

I wonder what it is with the latest batch of rebrands all over the place. More animated screen junk amongst other things. Rebranding ITV to ITV1 (again) - pointless. So it is an anomaly compared to the BBC - so what? ITV was a well known brand (although I preferred the old regional versions). Isn't there a rebrand of the C4 names due soon?

Possibly. The catchup service will have a name change to "Channel 4". Their channels will have a brand so that they are more "aligned", what ever that means.

They are just trying to keep prpr in an (unpaid) job ... :whistling:
Full time job at that. Barely a week goes by without an LCN shuffle or some channel (either "real" or streaming) changes name, starts up or ceases broadcasting. A period of stability would be nice. Was that a pig I saw flying past?

What sort of changes are being made for regionalised BBC One HD? Will a retune be required to continue watching BBC One HD? (for those of us not using tunefix-update).
