[webif] Web interface

That looks good. Now try this from the command line:

.. and then please try the diag remove_mod_yes_i_am_sure once more - I've turned up the output.

I'm sure you've gathered that something is quite wrong here. You've tried to reset the whole environment in two different ways and it doesn't appear to have worked. The strangest thing is that it thinks your packages are up to date and it shouldn't have a package database at all after the reset.

Yes please, run the diag again. The df output looks normal.

Also, run the df diagnostic please (diag df)

Unfortunately that's only the last part of the output (the default scrollback buffer in PuTTY is fairly small)
I've made another change, could you run it again?

Yes, that looks good now. Reboot the box (using the remote control) and you should have the full web interface!

Can anyone explain how I stuffed it up so that I don't do it again?

Success, I now have the ful web interface again.

I still need to learn from this though, can you exlpain what caused it?
