That is why I'm surprised that I have accumulated a few of those.7000 is hardly anything. Less than a year continuous.
Is that before it crashes? The maximum time for unattended switch on for a DTR-T1000 is 12 hours.
The maximum time for auto-power off, for both the old software and the 2017 re-write was 12 hours. There is and was no way of switching off auto-power off.Is that before it crashes?
My last experience with a DTR-T1000 is something changed either in the broadcast signal or the internet back end and it could no longer record anything, or even watch most channels live. I foolishly gave it to a friend who thought he knew how to fix it, and a couple of years later I found out he'd thrown it in the WEE recycle in disgust. Waste of a good front panel, case, hard disc and for vertical tuners HDR Fox T2 (I have one) power supply.
Assuming there's something wrong with the main board (retune loop), this amounts to a case, front panel PCB, power supply, and remote control. Might be useful to someone.I have a Fox HDR/T2 that I am retiring and I wondered if there are any takers? It has been running well on the Customised firmware for ages, although I has seemed to get stuck in a retuning loop which I hadn't noticed as I don't really use it any more. I have removed the 4TB HDD that I upgraded it to, but everything else should be functional either as a spare unit or as a spares donor.
If he's had it 15 years it's going to be the original horizontal model.Does it have vertical or horizontal RF connectors on the rear panel?

I guess "stuck in a retune loop" means it goes in to the Wizard every time. Probably correctable.
That's the original and arguably more desirable version. It's also the one that is much more common. It has the Antenna In/Out pair next to each other side-by-side (horizontally). There is an internal label wiih a 2010 manufacturing date on it if that helps also.
