How have I not noticed this thread before, I'm very much looking forward to installing it when I get home, will save all the hassle of trying to remember what al the channels are and whether or not I want them which I normally have when a retune is needed! Thanks for this!! :)- valve90210

Hummy resetting itself occasionally
Hi all Over the last couple of weeks, on a couple of occasions I've gone to watch tv and found that my Hummy is sitting at the first setup screen waiting for me to select a language before going into the first time setup. WebIf Browse Media Files Really Slow . . .
Thought I'd add into this thread that I am also having this issue - original hdd though with not a great deal of space left which might be contributing to the slowness. When trying to browse media in the webif it takes literally 3 or 4 minutes to list. Not going to have much of a chance to do...- valve90210

Remote Scheduling problem
It's now saying active on the RS settings but the RS website is still saying initial data not sent and reporting the last visit as 1 January 1970...which I'm assuming is not right..lol- valve90210

Hi All At the beginning of the week I was on the remote scheduling site and noticed that my humax hadn't been seen on the site for a couple of days. Yep was me having set a static IP and not realising that the router, despite knowing there's device with a static IP, would decide to give that same address to another device...- valve90210

Ignore, it was nothing to do with the hummy, it was my stupid router deciding to give my tablet the same ip address as the hummy despite the fact both are supposed to be given static ip addresses each time... stupid router!!!!- valve90210

Hiya It's not my day today, first my hummy was crashing over and over, now Web If is refusing to load and I have no idea why... I updated all packages this morning which have me the new version which seemed to be fine but now it's not loading at all in any browser on any of my devices...- valve90210

I switched the box of at the back and upon switching back on it seemed to stay on for a bit longer and I have managed to get into maintenance mode and am currently running fix disk to see if that helps. I had a bit more of a play with this over the weekend and am a bit confused now, having had it working with Bubble upnp and MX player, it now seems that MX player can't (or won't) play the ts files from the hummy. I'm having the problem, tried bubble upnp, skifta and mx player and Xfbmn, all of them just get a spinning circle then drop back to the software. After a good bit of investigating I managed to get it sorted last night. It did indeed end up as being an IP address problem..though not the fault of the Humax... I have the hummy setup as DCHP with the router set to always give it the same address so my ftp settings etc all stay the same for...- valve90210
