      Failed to respond

      Running up to date Customer f/w Several times the unit does not start when I go to use, unresponsive to remote. Display states the boot message “Custom F/W ….” I power cycle and it works. Any specific issue, or something I can check.

      Several times lately, after working fine at shut down. Next time I press power button on remote to startup, it starts with the initial configuration screen Input language, screen format etc …. Then the option to search for channels … you can’t get past any of this, so it wipes out all recording...

      Saving recordings off TV

      My Fox T2 PVR works fine (uses custom f/w but is not relevant for this post) On my new Samsung TV if I go to EPB it gives me option to view, schedule view or record any program. Is it possible to record straight to the PVR ? i.e. its not an over the air broadcast but digital file.

      My Humax tody had lost many of its recording (in the display) and no thumbnails. I rebooted and it has recovered. I thought I had better take a look but could not access WEB i/f for a few Hrs ... kept getting ERROR 500 though I could ping the Humax OK (I guess this could be unrelated to my box)...
