Sorry if title confuses but must be old age that I cant remember correct wording!
I have found lately that some recordings are starting late and finishing early. Not all
channels and only occasionally. Is it that the broadcasters are not triggering the start and finish signals correctly.

I would have thought that OFCOM would have, somewhere in their T&C's, a minimum standard for quality of broadcasting.
Obviously not. Gave it another peek today - still no better. I guess they are just in it for the money!
I know when GB News started there were numerous complaints about sound etc. I run off of Mendip TX and the sound of GB News is constantly much lower than all
other channels whether it be direct feed from aerial or via 2000T. Anybody else have same situation? Also is GB News trying to save on...
A belated reply to the above. It turns out my 2000T is not very good on loop through. Plugged TV cable directly into wall socket and perfect
reception.
Recent few days when I switch to Forces TV on Freeview 96 the picture/sound are totally pixelated or frozen.
This happens whether I am watching channel via the 2000T or even when using the loop-thru.
I checked signal info on box and it showed continuous bit error and Strength/Quality around...
I recently bought a new Samsung 4K Smart TV to replace my old Samsung that had a wonky screen.
Watching with the old set, using the 2000T as source the Signal strength, on the majority of channels, was
around 71% with Quality being around 100%. With the new set Humax shows the same figures...
Just replaced my Samsung with a newer version. HDMI working all ok with Humax HDR2000T. For some reason though
when source is switched back to TV from Box, the TV shows 'no signal'. As previous I have power saving in standby switched off
to enable loop-thru. Any ideas out there??
Local Transmitter is Mendip, about 18 miles crow fly away. No other tx in area to cause problems.
Over last 2 to 3 days I have tried to set up timers for programmes on Channel 4 and 5 for this coming weekend (26/27 October).
I find that times and programmes for both channels for these dates...
Thinking about getting Dongle for my 2000T. Have seen mentions of problems with password with too many characters.
My BT Hub password is 12 chars long, does anybody know if this is acceptable?
I contacted Humax about the inability to be able to rename and to make new folders.
Response was that users had already asked for these changes but they had no plans to do so!
Has anybody have any idea if this station is ever going to fix its formatting.
It's amazing the 'shape' of some of the actors when a programme is on. Also they
seem to be very irregular as to what format they tx in.
Blurb from their website :-' In an entertainment landscape of constantly...
Any thoughts out there as to whether HDR-2000T will deal with GMT/BST change tonight.
I recall my old 9300 some years ago taking until Sunday afternoon to change.
Cant see any mention in manual.
Last night, or early this (Feb 20) had afailed recordng on More4. Not worried about reason as believe very late start from More4 caused one-off failure. What I am asking is how to delete from media file as when 'ok' is pressed there are no options to select - either 'play' or 'delete'?
