Aha, a quantum physics degree in a state of superposition, like Schrödinger's cat. Just don't look!
The duck appears not to know. Google found this on reddit:You say shatato, I say shatayto
But seriously, what the heck is it?!
That way round wouldn't it be potack (maybe)?Maybe a portmanteau of "potato shack"?? Just guessing.
I haven't. Sorry, it just isn't funny to me.Gotta laugh.
So it's going to rain red sludge inside my garage? That's impressive, clearly magical dust.suggested it was a waste of time washing your car today (yesterday or Wednesday) as it would end up covered in red sludge when it rained.
Just passing by and saw this. I've been very happy with a replacement grill element made to spec by an outfit in LiverpoolAt the moment I'm looking - just in case. The other company is part of Currys so should be okay. The oven is still working although the top heating element is a bit droopy. The grill element and the bottom element still work as well. Hopefully no decision required soon - famous last words!
I bought two last time I had to replace my circular one from The Element Man, and indeed the spare is still in the box and long overdue for fitting at previous failure rates.I bought an extra to ensure there could be no day that had to miss grilled bacon in the butties. Still in its box of course - having a spare is the best guarantee against failure I know of.

The best way to guarantee the original will never fail is to buy a spare.I bought two last time I had to replace my circular one from The Element Man, and indeed the spare is still in the box and long overdue for fitting at previous failure rates.

Too true.An object in motion is always travelling in the wrong direction.
An object at rest is always in the wrong place.
Still got that unused VCR I bought as a spare. The original has failed, but who uses VCRs? Chances are the tapes have stuck and would damage the spare VCR.The best way to guarantee the original will never fail is to buy a spare.
The best way to guarantee the original will fail is not to have bought a spare.
I used my S-VHS VCR a few months ago to watch an old tape and check the Teletext on there (which S-VHS has the bandwidth to record). Tape and VCR are both fine.Still got that unused VCR I bought as a spare. The original has failed, but who uses VCRs? Chances are the tapes have stuck and would damage the spare VCR.
