Thanks Brian.

I tried the Remove/Install but it had no immediate effect. This morning however the ENC flags are gone :)
I will use the method you describe if it should happen again. Incidently why would you need to set ENC?

I initially missed your post as I normally view the forum using Recent Activity. Not all posts appear there chronologically.

PMSL! Come on then, tell me what "Clirlun" means (HiDef by any chance?)!

I think you might come in handy when random questions about Welsh cross my fevered mind ('specially as you can't even look them up in a dictionary!).
"Clirlun" means "Clear Picture"

Glad to hear that your ENC flags have gone. You would need to set ENC flags if you didn't want your HD programmes to be copied.;)

Now you are signed up, the forum topic listing shows topics with unread posts (unread by you that is) in heavy type with a bullet link to the first unread post along side. I use that as my main port of entry. You can initially clear all the "unread" flags by marking the board as read (somewhere down the bottom of the main listing I think).

A quick click on "Humax Set-Top Boxes" (near the top) lists all the sub-forums, and those with unread content are in heavy text again, so it is easy to check when there is something to see in the HD-FOX forum.

The reboot that wasn't....

Using the RS WebIF, I deleted my Dr Who series link. The delete command showed up in Pending as expected, it then traversed into the Queued command list in due course. Correct. I then scheduled a reboot, again command excepted. The log showed rebooting now, and I lost contact with the Hummy.

The box had just gone into standby, not rebooted. I used the box's front standby button to wake it up.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Also I have noticed that when I come home from work and after the 14:00 - 14:15 wake/sleep timer has worked, SOMETIMES when I press the front standby button, the Hummy does not go through the usual Start System routine, it merely comes straight out of standby showing the previous shown channel. Weird...

Again, anyone else?

This is what you would expect it to do if it is currently half-awake when you fire it up. I presume that is not the case here?

Right. The Hummy SHOULD have been 'put to sleep' @ 14:15 as-per scheduled daily sleep timer. It looks like it was only dozing!

I have a problem with the RS WebIF that I am sure is only specific to me, but I wonder if anyone could help me with it?

When I use my iPhone4 (Safari) to access the RS WebIF, the EPG never finishes loading the EPG data. It looks like it has but the 'loading Now/Next information' is always showing in the top LHS of the screen.

This seems to stop me being able to set any remote timers which is really pi@@ing me off.

I try to tap on the program I wish to set a timer for but it just takes me to the top of the screen and I never get the option box to even set a recording.

It happens on GSM, 3G and even WiFi. I have cleared the cache and tried two other browsers but all with the same effect.

Any clues? BTW, it works OK from a PC or Laptop, just not my iPhone4.

I just tried this on my Android, and it works OK (both on the RS portal and on the hummy's WebIF itself, not sure which of the two you meant), however I do get similar symptoms to what you're describing on the iPhone web interface (using the Android) when I try to select an item from the recording schedule list, i.e. it doesn't display that item but scrolls back to the top of the list. Browsing the iPhone web interface from a PC (Google Chrome) has the same effect, so I'm wondering now what clicking on a item in the schedule on the iPhone web app is actually supposed to do?!

I am only having problems with the RS WebIF, the Hummy's WebIF works fine, even on the iPhone, as does the iPhone WebIF.

What version of the iPhone webif have you got installed? The first version didn't do anything when you clicked on a programme listed in the record schedule. However the latest version will show the programme details.

Version 0.0.2-3. Isn't this the latest version? Nothing new appears when I refresh the updates list.

That is the latest version but I've never tested it on Android so can't guarantee that it will work on that platform. I certainly wouldn't expect it to function 100% on a PC based browser.

Version 0.0.3 should be up in the next day or two so maybe that will fix the issue!

Thanks for your help, I shall try the next version when it arrives. Other than this small glitch, the iPhone interface looks great and works nicely on Android.

I'm downloading the Android emulator so I'll give it a test tomorrow and try to resolve and issues on that platform.

Works on mine, but that's running iOS5, so maybe you'll be ok on the 12th? I had to enable cookies in the Safari settings because for some reason that defaults to never accept them.

I have cookies enabled. It did work at one time but no idea why it doesn't now. I do know it renders the RS almost useless on my iPhone at the moment. :(
