  The issue with networking isn't signal related; it is believed that the Humax code isn't good at handling network errors which then leads to crashes. I would be a be a bit surprised if it was happening at startup though.

  As far as I know, ITVX is not supported on the FVP-4000T/5000T.

  I have standard firmware 1`.03.13 (NB not 1.03.12) which you can download from Click her to download 1.03.13 I think you will need to rename it as hdr_fox_t2_upgrade.hdf.

  I think you need to use rufus (or similar software) to organise the USB stick in the required format. See https://rufus.ie/en/ I used it to install a dual boot system (Windows 11 and Debian 11) on a modern laptop.

  Good, you just need something to read the Linux filesystem. I suggest you try the free version of Linux reader https://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/

  Does the Aura provide a signal to the TV if connected directly via HDMI without the switch? Yes nothing is overlaid so you can do what you describe.

  I think you are limited to an HDR-FOX T2 mother board and there are two types one with the tuners vertical and a later one with the tuners horizontal.

  I also have the occasional duplicate but with the ability to record 4 channels simultaneously I don't consider it a significant problem and I would certainly prefer to have a duplicate rather than no recording at all.
